FUDGE NUT BARS 
1 c. butter
2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. oatmeal (quick cooking)
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt

Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs, vanilla and dry ingredients. Spread 2/3 of mixture in a 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1 inch pan.

FILLING:

1 pkg. (12 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 c. sweetened condensed milk
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. vanilla

Melt chocolate chips, milk, butter and salt in a double boiler. When smooth add nuts and vanilla. Pour over oatmeal mixture in pan. Cover with last of oatmeal mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
