FUDGE NUT BARS 
1 c. butter
2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
3 c. quick cook oatmeal
1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 c. sweetened condensed milk
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped walnuts
2 tsp. vanilla

Cream together 1 cup butter and sugar in bowl until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and 2 teaspoons vanilla. Sift flour, baking soda, 1 teaspoon salt. Add with oats to cream mixture; mix well.

Combine chocolate chips, condensed milk, 2 tablespoons butter and 1/2 teaspoon salt in double boiler top. Place over hot water. Stir until melted. Remove from heat, add walnuts and 2 teaspoons vanilla.

Spread 2/3 of dough in cake pan. Cover with fudge filling. Dot with remaining dough. Swirl over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until done.
