MOM'S FUDGE NUT BARS 
1 c. butter
2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
3 c. oats

TOPPING:

1 pkg. chocolate chips (12 oz.)
1 can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
2 tbsp. butter
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. nuts

Cream together butter and sugar. Mix in eggs and vanilla. Sift flour, soda and salt. Stir in oats. Add dry ingredients to rolled oats.

In saucepan, over boiling water, mix chocolate pieces, condensed milk, butter and salt. Add nuts and vanilla. Spread 2/3 oat mixture in jelly roll pan. Cover with chocolate mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
