KRAUT `N BURGER BALLS 
1 lb. ground beef
1/4 c. dry bread crumbs
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 can Bavarian style sauerkraut, well drained (16 oz.)
1/4 c. tomato catsup
1 can (16 oz.) stewed tomatoes
1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar

Mix together ground beef, bread crumbs, onion, salt and pepper, form into 8 meatballs. Place sauerkraut in a greased 1 1/2 quart casserole. Arrange meatballs on top of sauerkraut.

Combine catsup, tomatoes and brown sugar; mixing well. Pour over meatballs. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 1 hour.
