MUSTARD BREAD
1 sm. loaf French or Italian bread (you can sub. hard rolls for the bread)
1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. green onions, chopped (including some of the green tops or try reg. onions)
2 tbsp. parsley flakes or chopped fresh parsley
2 tbsp. prepared mustard
2 tbsp. sesame or poppy seeds

Cream the butter and blend in the onions and parsley. Split the bread the long way. Spread both sides with the butter mixture and the mustard. Top with the sesame or poppy seeds.

Cut the bread diagonally into 1 1/2 inch slices not quite through the crust. Heat in oven at 350 degrees for about 12 minutes or until lightly browned.

Note: To keep top of bread from becoming too hard sprinkle water over top of loaf (or rolls) just before putting into oven or wrap in foil.
