1 square unsweetened chocolate
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter, or 1/4 C. shortening and 1/4 C. butter
1/2 c. milk
3 c. oatmeal
1/2 c. peanut butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix unsweetened chocolate, sugar, butter and milk together in a saucepan. Boil for 1 minute.

Quickly add the oatmeal, peanut butter and vanilla. Mix well. Drop on wax paper and cool.
