TOMATO JUICE 
2 qts. tomatoes, chopped
1 c. water
1 bay leaf
2 sm. onions, chopped
2 talks celery, chopped
1 tbsp. salt
2 tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. lemon juice
2 tbsp. vinegar
2 hot peppers without seeds or 1 with seeds for every 8 qts., chopped
Cloves (optional)

Simmer all ingredients, except lemon juice and vinegar for 1 hour. Put through strainer allowing some pulp. Add lemon juice and vinegar. Heat to boiling and seal. I use a blender to chop vegetables. Taste to season.
