SOUR CREAM CAKE WITH CREAM
CHEESE FROSTING
 
2 c. sugar
1/2 lb. butter
6 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. cake flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. sour cream
8 oz. pkg. softened cream cheese
1 c. sifted powdered sugar

Mix ingredients well. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Allow cake to cool, then frost with cream cheese frosting. Beat cheese until smooth. Add sugar and mix thoroughly. Beat at high speed until light and fluffy.
