1 c. instant powdered milk
1/3 c. boiling water
2/3 c. sugar
3 tbsp. melted butter
1/8 tsp. salt

Mix thoroughly in electric mixer until thick and creamy. This makes about the same amount as the commercial kind and can be used in any recipe calling for sweetened condensed milk. It keeps several weeks in the refrigerator.
