HERBED FRENCH BREAD | |
1 loaf French bread 1 pkg. sliced Swiss cheese 1/2 c. butter, softened 1/2 tsp. dry mustard 1 tbsp. minced onion 2 slices bacon Cut the French bread in to 1 inch slices. Cut cheese slices in half, then cut each half diagonally. Put the cheese pieces between the slices of the bread. Make a foil boat for the bread; wrap tightly around the bottom of bread. Mix the butter, dry mustard and onion together and spread over the top of the bread. Bake at 400 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes or until bacon is crisp. Serve immediately. |
