FINSKA KABOR (FINISH BUTTER
COOKIES)
 
3/4 c. butter
1/4 c. plus 1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 - 3 tsp. ground coriander
2 c. sifted unbleached flour
1 egg white
1/3 c. chopped walnuts
1 tsp. sugar

Mix together flour, sugar, vanilla and coriander. Stir in flour. Chill dough. Roll out and cut into 1 x 3 inch strips. Brush tops with egg white. Sprinkle with mixture of 1 teaspoon sugar and chopped walnuts. Bake 12 to 15 minutes at 350 degrees.
