SWEET AND SOUR PORK 
1 1/2 lb. lean pork loin cut into thin strips
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
Pineapple juice drained from #2 can pineapple chunks
1/2 c. water
1/3 c. white vinegar
1/4 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. cornstarch
Dash of pepper
Salt
3/4 c. green pepper thinly sliced
1/2 c. onion, thinly sliced
Pineapple chunks
Steamed rice

Trim all visible fat from 1 1/2 pounds of lean pork loin and cut pork in thin strips. Saute in vegetable oil until golden brown. Combine next 7 ingredients. Place in glass jar and shake until well mixed.

Pour into pan and cook until sauce is clear and slightly thickened. Add meat. Cook over low heat for 1 hour. Five minutes before serving add green pepper, onion, pineapple chunks. Serve over steamed rice. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
