SAN FRANCISCO FISH STEW 
1 tbsp. oil
1 clove garlic, chopped
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/3 c. chopped green pepper

1/4 lb. mushrooms, sliced (optional)
2 c. cooked tomatoes
3/4 c. tomato paste
1 c. chicken broth
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 sm. bay leaf
1/2 tsp. dried oregano
1 tsp. sugar
3/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper

Cook uncovered 20 minutes. Add 1 to 1 1/2 pound flounder or other white fish, cut into large pieces. Cook 10 to 15 minutes or until fish flakes easily. Serve over rice or spaghetti.
