SAN FRANCISCO COOKIES 
2 ripe, medium bananas, peeled
2 c. granola
1 1/2 c. flour
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 tsp. baking powder
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1/2 c. butter, melted
1/4 c. vegetable oil
1 c. chocolate chips

Slice bananas into blender. Whir until pureed (1 cup). Combine granola, flour, sugar, cinnamon and baking powder. Stir in bananas, eggs, butter and oil. Fold in chocolate chips. To make cookies, spoon batter in 1/4 cup measure. Drop onto greased cookie sheet. Spread batter to 2 1/2 to 3 inches. Bake in 350 degree oven 16 minutes. Makes 16 to 18 cookies.
