CORN FRITTERS | |
Oil 2 1/2 c. cooked corn kernels (about 6 ears) 1 c. flour 3/4 c. milk 2 eggs 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. sugar 3/4 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. pepper Heat oil in large skillet. Combine remaining ingredients in medium bowl and mix well. For large fritters, drop mixture by heaping tablespoons into hot oil. For smaller ones, drop by teaspoonsful. Fry until golden brown on each side, turning once. Drain on paper towels and serve immediately. |
