LAZY BEEF CASSEROLE 
1 lb. lean beef chuck, cut into 1 1/2" cubes
1/2 c. red wine
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can consomme, undiluted
1/4 tsp. rosemary
Black pepper to taste
1 med. onion, chopped
1/4 c. fine dry bread crumbs
1/4 c. flour

Put meat into casserole. Combine wine, consomme, pepper, rosemary and onion. Mix flour and bread crumbs and stir into the liquid. Pour mixture over meat. Cover and bake at 300 degrees for about 3 hours. (A lower temperature and longer cooking time may be used if more convenient.) A delicious gravy forms during the cooking of this very easy and tender beef dish. Serve with rice or noodles. Makes 4 servings.
