LAZY BEEF CASSEROLE 
1 lb. lean beef chuck, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
1/2 c. red wine
1 (10 oz.) can beef consomme, undiluted
3/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 med. onion, chopped
1/4 c. fine dry bread crumbs
1/4 c. flour

Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Put meat into a casserole with first 5 ingredients. Mix flour and bread crumbs together and then add to meat mixture. Cover and bake about 3 hours. Makes 4 servings. Serve over rice or pasta. 350 calories per serving, 450 calories with 1/2 cup rice or pasta.
