KAHLUA PIE | |
1 1/2 c. chocolate cookie crumbs 1/4 tsp. cinnamon 1/3 c. soft butter 6 egg yolks 1 c. sugar 1 tbsp. gelatin 1/2 c. cold water 1/3 c. kahlua 1 pt. heavy cream 1/4 c. shaved chocolate Combine first 3 ingredients and mix well. Press into small springform pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 minutes. Beat eggs until light; adding sugar. Soak gelatin and water. Place that mix over low flame and bring to a boil. Pour over sugar/egg mixture stirring briskly. Add 1/3 cup Kahlua and then fold in 1 pint whipped whipping (heavy) cream. Cool until mixture begins to set; pour into crumb shell. Sprinkle with 1/4 cup shaved chocolate (use grater). Refrigerate until set, a few hours. |
