ITALIAN SPAGHETTI SAUCE 
Combine in a large saucepan:

2 (28 oz.) cans tomato sauce
2 (28 oz.) cans tomato puree
1 (12 oz.) can tomato paste
1 (12 oz.) can water

Add:

1 tbsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. sugar
2 bay leaves
1 tbsp. basil

Place on a very low flame for (1) hour - uncovered. Stir frequently. Serve piping hot. (Simmer longer if necessary.)

In a heavy frying pan brown and add to sauce the following:

1 tsp. olive oil
1 chopped onion
2 crushed garlic

Enjoy.
