PHYL'S ITALIAN SPAGHETTI SAUCE 
2 lbs. hamburger
2 med. onions, diced
2 cloves garlic, crushed
2-3 bay leaves
2-3 tsp. oregano
2 tsp. thyme
1/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese
1 1/2 tsp. chili powder
1 lg. can tomato paste
1 tomato paste can water
1 lg. can tomato sauce
1 tomato sauce can water
1 lg. can tomato juice

Brown meat, onions, and garlic. Drain grease. Add bay leaves, oregano, and thyme. Mix well. Stir in tomato paste, tomato sauce, tomato juice, and water. Mix well. Add Parmesan cheese, chili powder, stir and simmer on low heat 2 1/2 to 3 hours. 10-12 servings. May be frozen.
