HARVEST CAKE LOAF 
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ginger
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. canned pumpkin
3/4 c. chocolate chips
1/2 c. walnuts

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine and mix dry ingredients. Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs and vanilla, beat well. Add dry ingredients and pumpkin to sugar mixture. Mix. Add chocolate chips and nuts. Bake in greased and floured 9 x 5 inch loaf pan at 350 degrees for 70 minutes. Let stand 6 hours before slicing.
