1 c. butter
1 1/4 c. sugar
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. raisins
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. flour
2 eggs
1 orange and 1/2 c. sugar

Blend eggs, sugar and butter. Add soda, baking powder, flour and buttermilk. Grind orange rind and raisins. Blend together. Bake at 350 degrees until cake springs back in middle. To the juice of 1 orange add 1/2 cup sugar and pour over hot cake.
