Cover with 2 quarts water, 1/4 cup salt in water. Bring to a boil and boil 4-5 minutes. Drain and place spread out on cookie sheet. Bake at 300 degrees for 40-45 minutes. 1 teaspoon butter to cup of seeds while in oven. Stir in 1/2 way through. (You can butter before putting in the oven.)
