FLORENCE'S FUDGE 
4 c. sugar
1 lg. can Carnation evaporated milk
3 sm. pkgs. chocolate chips
1/2 lb. butter
3 tsp. vanilla
2 c. broken nutmeats

In a heavy kettle, bring to a boil the 4 cups of sugar and the milk, and stir until all is melted, being careful not to scorch. Boil for 6 minutes.

In a large bowl, place the chips, butter, vanilla and nutmeats.

Pour the hot mixture over the second mixture and stir until all is melted. Pour into 10x14 inch buttered pan and cut into squares when cool.
