CRACKER PIE 
16 saltine crackers, crushed
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. granulated sugar
3 egg whites
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. vanilla

Beat egg whites, slowly adding sugar and cream of tartar; beat until egg whites stand in peaks. Add vanilla. Fold in crushed crackers and chopped nuts. Bake at 325 degrees for 30 minutes.
