STUFFED CABBAGE ITALIANO 
2 tbsp. butter
1 c. diced onion
1/2 c. uncooked rice
1 tsp. pepper
2 1/2 tsp. salt
1 sm. head cabbage
1 1/2 lb. ground chuck
2 cans (16 oz. each) whole tomatoes

Saute onion in butter for 5 minutes. Add rice and pepper. Cook 2 minutes. Add salt. Drain juice from tomatoes (set juice aside). Chop tomatoes. Add to rice mixture. Brown ground chuck add to tomatoes and rice. Chop cabbage. Spray glass dish with Spam. Start with layer of cabbage, then meat mixture. Add remaining cabbage on top. Pour on juice from tomatoes and bake at 350 degrees for 2 hours.
