CHEESY CORNBREAD 
2 c. self rising meal
2 tbsp. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. milk
1/4 c. oil
1 c. shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 c. thinly sliced green pepper
3 slices cooked, crumbled bacon

Blend together meal, sugar, eggs, milk and oil. Stir until smooth and pour into 9"x11" pan. Combine cheese and mustard and sprinkle over batter. Top with green pepper and bacon crumbs. Bake at 425 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes or until bread is golden brown.
