MAMA'S MEAT LOAF 
2 lb. ground chuck
2 eggs
1 c. grated toast crumbs
1 onion, grated
1 sm. can tomato paste
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 can whole button mushrooms
3 hard-boiled eggs
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp. pepper

Mix all ingredients except mushrooms and hard-boiled eggs. Form into loaf and stuff hard-boiled eggs (shelled) into the center of meat loaf from either end. Place eggs lengthwise rather than upright. Place in loaf pan and cover the top of the meat loaf with the whole mushrooms. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake for at least 1 3/4 hours. Remove to platter. When sliced, the egg provides an attractive variation in color and taste. Serves 8.
