RICE-SAUSAGE CASSEROLE | |
1 lb. sausage 1 chopped onion 1 c. raw rice 1 can cream of chicken soup 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1-2 cans water Grated cheese (opt.) Brown sausage and onion. Add rice. Stir and cook until rice begins to brown. Add cream of chicken soup, mushroom soup, and water. Stir well. Cover and let simmer 15 to 20 minutes. Pour into baking dish and cover with foil. Cook until rice is tender, about 20 to 30 minutes. Remove foil. Cover with grated cheese, if desired, and bake until cheese melts. Bake at 350 degrees. |
