REFRIGERATOR BISCUITS
1 pkg. yeast
2 tbsp. lukewarm water
1 c. shortening
2 c. buttermilk
1/4 c. sugar
5 c. all-purpose flour
1 tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda

Stir together. Roll out on floured board. The mixture is soupy. Two large spoonfuls make about a dozen biscuits. Use just enough flour when rolling out to keep from sticking. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes.

NOTE: Remainder of mixture will keep in refrigerator for a week or 2.
