2 c. whole wheat flour
1 c. white flour (preferably unbleached)
1 c. bran and/or whole grain cereal
1/2 c. unprocessed bran
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tbsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ginger
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1 1/4 c. oil
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. orange peel
2 c. grated carrots or zucchini
1 c. raisins, currants or dried papaya chips
2 tbsp. apple butter
1 c. chopped nuts
