MOM'S CONGO BARS 
2 3/4 c. flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. melted butter
1/ c. oil
2 1/4 c. brown sugar (1 lb.)
3 eggs
3/4 c. chocolate bits
1 tsp. vanilla

Melt butter and cool. Add oil and sugar gradually. Add eggs, one at a time. Add vanilla. Sift and add dry ingredients. Add chocolate bits and spread in 9 x 13 inch greased pan. Bake 35 minutes at 350 degrees.
