HOT MULLED CIDER 
2 qt. apple cider
1/2 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
1 med. orange, sliced
1 tsp. ground allspice
16 whole cloves
2 cinnamon sticks

Combine in 3-quart saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes. Strain to remove cloves.
