CHEWY BUTTERSCOTCH - COCONUT
BARS
 
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. butter
1 c. Bisquick
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. coconut
1/3 c. chopped nuts
2 tbsp. Bisquick
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 c. chocolate chips

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 9 x 9 inch pan. Mix 1/2 cup brown sugar and butter. Stir in 1 cup Bisquick until crumbly. Press in pan. Bake 12 minutes. Mix remaining ingredients except chips. Spread over layer of cooked crust. Sprinkle with chips. Bake another 25 minutes. Cool and cut in squares.
