SWEDISH KRINGLER 
1 c. flour
1/2 c. butter
2 tbsp. water
1 c. water
1/2 c. butter
1 c. flour
3 eggs
1/2 tbsp. almond extract

TOPPING:

1 c. powdered sugar
1 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. almond extract

Mix first 3 ingredients like a pie crust and pat on a cookie sheet or in a 9"x13" pan.

Heat water and butter to boiling. Remove from hat and stir in flour until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each one. Add almond extract, beat well. Spread this mixture over the "pie crust like" dough. Bake at 350 degrees for 55 to 60 minutes. When cool, mix topping ingredients together and sprinkle over bars.
