QUICK CREAM OF ASPARAGUS SOUP 
1 (13 3/4 oz.) can chicken broth
1 (15 oz.) can asparagus spears, chopped
2 tbsp. chopped onion
1 c. milk or Half and Half
Salt and pepper to taste

Put broth, asparagus and onion in saucepan. Bring to a boil, lower heat, simmer 5 minutes. Put in blender - use medium speed until well mixed. Return to saucepan and whisk in milk. Season with salt and pepper. Heat thoroughly but do not boil.
