FRENCH BREAD 
1 tbsp. milk
1 1/2 c. warm water
1 tbsp. honey
1/2 tsp. salt
2 pkgs. quick rise yeast
3 c. flour

Mix all ingredients. Knead 5 minutes. Cut in half and let rise about 25 minutes. Knead again 5 minutes. Put on greased cookie sheet into 2 long loaves. Rub tops with salty water. Let rise in warm place 15 minutes (don't cover). Bake 20 minutes at 450 degrees. Serve warm or cold.
