GREAT SUNDAY ROAST 
1 (3-4 lb.) 7 bone roast or chuck roast
6-10 carrots
5-7 potatoes
1 pkg. dr onion soup mix
1-2 cans cream of mushroom soup

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Line 13 x 9 inch pan with foil and place roast in pan. Trim excess fat if desired. Peel carrots and potatoes; slice and place around and on top of roast. Spoon undiluted cans of soup over roast. Sprinkle dry onion soup mix over top. Cover tightly with foil. Bake 3 hours.
