ROAST SPARE RIBS 
2 lb. spare ribs
1 oz. salted yellow bean paste
1/2 oz. Hoisin sauce
1/2 oz. sesame paste
4 oz. sugar
5 oz. soy
1 tsp. spicy salt
1 tsp. sesame oil
1 garlic, mashed
1 shallot
1/2 oz. dry sherry or Chinese rose wine
Dash of red powder for coloring
1/2 c. honey for brushing

1. Wash spareribs and dry well and score with the point of a knife.

2. Mix all the seasonings well until sugar melts.

3. Marinate spare ribs for 45 minutes. Place on baking rack.

4. Bake in 450 degree oven for 10 minutes, then turn meat over. Brush with honey. Bake for another 15 minutes.

5. Brush again with honey and bake for another 5 minutes.
