RICK'S GRILLED T-BONE STEAK
Prepare yourself for the best steaks you have ever made!

T-bone steaks
olive oil
sea salt
fresh ground pepper
gas or charcoal grill

Note: Be sure to pay the extra nickel for the best T-bone steaks you can find.

Light charcoal and wait until coals are all white (or light gas grill and let heat up to 500°F. DO NOT USE FOIL ON YOUR GRILL!

Be sure to lay out steaks (or any other beef to be grilled) long enough to reach room temperature (very important).

Brush each steak with olive oil and sprinkle lightly with coarse sea salt and fresh ground pepper.

(Lower gas grill to 400°F). Grill each until seared then flip until other side seared. Flip again so grill marks are opposite on steak... grill minimum of 4 minutes on each side (might be a bit longer on charcoal depending on your grill).

Flip one last time rotated to make opposing grill marks cooking at least 4 minutes and remove sooner for rare and later for more doneness.

Trust me... it is better to not overcook as it will not be as tender, juicy or as tasty.

Best with roasted potatoes and a fresh green salad. Enjoy!
