PORK SHORT RIBS | |
2 tbsp. salad oil 1 med. onion, minced 1/4 c. vinegar 1 c. catsup 1/4 c. water 4-6 lg. beef or pork short ribs 3 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 tsp. mustard 2 tbsp. brown sugar 1/2 c. celery, diced 2 tsp. salt In oil, saute onion and then remove onion from pan. In same oil, brown ribs well on all sides - about 15-20 minutes. Add sauteed onion. Mix vinegar, brown sugar, catsup, water, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, celery and salt. Pour on top of ribs. Simmer, covered, turning occasionally for 1 1/2-2 hours. |
