PEAR MANDARIN SALAD 
16 oz. can pear halves
1 lg. box lemon Jello
1 c. whipping cream, unwhipped
8 oz. sour cream
10 oz. can drained mandarin oranges
2 kiwi, peeled and sliced

Drain pears and save juice. Slice pears and set aside. Bring pear juice to boil and add Jello. Allow to cool but not congeal. Combine cream and sour cream and add to Jello. Place fruit in slightly chilled and oiled mold or 9x13 pan. Pour Jello over and allow to set up. If using mold, unmold after Jello is firm, if using 9x13 pan, proceed with Jello in the pan. Add sliced kiwi to indicate portion size and serve. If using 9x13 pan, recipe must be doubled.
