QUICK 'N EASY LASAGNA 
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. sliced fresh mushrooms
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
1 clove garlic
1 (15 1/2 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce
4 oz. lasagna noodles, cooked and drained
1/2 tsp. dried whole oregano
1/4 tsp. dried basil leaves
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 c. cottage cheese
1 (8 oz.) pkg. sliced Mozzarella cheese

Crumble beef into 2 quart casserole, add mushrooms, onion, green pepper, and garlic. Cover with waxed paper; microwave on high for 5-6 minutes or until done, stirring twice. Drain off excess drippings. Add spaghetti sauce and seasonings to mixture, stirring well. Cover and microwave on high for 2-3 minutes or until thoroughly heated, stirring once.

Layer half of the noodles, cottage cheese, Mozzarella cheese, and meat mixture in a 12 x 8 x 2 inch baking dish. Repeat layers. Cover and microwave on medium high (80%) for 6-8 minutes or until thoroughly heated; giving dish a half turn after 5 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before serving. Serves 6-8.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
