CRANBERRY-PEAR CRISP | |
1 (12 oz.) pkg. cranberries (3 c.) 2 lg. unpeeled pears, cored sliced thin 1 c. granulated sugar 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 c. flour, divided 1/4 c. packed brown sugar 1/4 c. butter 3/4 c. regular oats 1/4 c. chopped walnuts Milk or cream (optional) In lightly greased 1 1/2 quart shallow baking dish, thoroughly mix cranberries, pears, granulated sugar, cinnamon, and 1 tablespoon flour; set aside. In medium bowl, mix remaining 3 tablespoons flour with brown sugar. With pastry blender, cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in oats and nuts; sprinkle evenly over fruit mixture. Bake in preheated 375 degree oven for 40 minutes or until lightly browned. Let stand at least 10 minutes. Serve with milk. Serves 8. Per serving without milk: 331 calories, 4 g protein, 52 g carbohydrates, 14 g fat, 18 mg cholesterol with butter, 0 mg cholesterol with butter, 74 mg sodium. |
