YEAR AROUND SLAW | |
1 med. cabbage 1 bell pepper 1 med. onion 1 sm. jar pimento 1/2 c. honey 1/2 c. vinegar 1/2 c. oil 2 tsp. sugar 2 tsp. salt Grate cabbage, pepper, and onion. Drain pepper. Add to above mixture. Mix honey, vinegar, oil, sugar, and salt. Boil hard for one minute. Cool until it stops bubbling. Pour over cabbage mixture. Sprinkle with celery seed. Put in sealed container and refrigerate. Will keep for several weeks. |
