YEAST CORN BREAD | |
2 c. cornmeal 1 c. flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 c. sugar 1 tsp. baking soda 1 pkg. active dry yeast 1/4 c. butter, melted 2 1/2 c. buttermilk, heated to lukewarm Stir all dry ingredients together, then add melted butter and buttermilk; let rise covered 30 minutes in greased baking pan or skillet. Bake uncovered in 350 degree oven for 30 minutes. |
