ICE CREAM CAKE 
1 box vanilla wafers
1/2 gal. ice cream
2 c. Pet milk (1 can)
2 c. marshmallows
12 oz. chocolate chips
1/2 tsp. salt

Butter 2 pie pans or 9 x 12 inch pan. Line bottom with vanilla wafers and stand them around the sides. Spread about 1/2 of the ice cream on bottom. Freeze about an hour.

In the meantime, make chocolate sauce. On medium heat in saucepan cook milk, marshmallows, chocolate chips and salt until smooth, stirring often. It takes a while for marshmallows to melt. Bring to a boil; then cool off. Spread about 1/2 of chocolate sauce over ice cream. Freeze another hour. Add rest of ice cream and freeze again. Finally top with rest of sauce and freeze until about 15 minutes before serving.
