NORWEGIAN COOKIES 
1 c. butter
1/2 c. sifted 10x sugar
2 1/4 c. sifted flour
1 c. chopped walnuts
1 tsp. vanilla

Melt butter, add remaining ingredients and mix well. If it seems dry, add small amount of milk. Pat into 9 1/2 x 13 pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes then cut into squares, when completely cooled, sprinkle with 10x sugar.
