STEAK STEW 
1 1/2 lbs. round steak
1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 onion, chopped
3 c. tomatoes
1 clove garlic
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. vinegar
1/4 c. ketchup
2 c. vegetables
2 c. potatoes

Slice steak into thin strips (slices better if slightly frozen). Shake steak in paper bag with flour, salt and pepper. Brown meat in fat or bacon grease in Dutch oven (375 degrees). Add other ingredients and simmer on surface temperature of 350 degrees until tender, approximately 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Uncover last 15 minutes to thicken sauce. Add 2 cups potatoes, celery or mixed vegetables. Can be served over biscuits or as stew.
