BLUSHING PEAR SALAD 
1 can pears (halves)
1/4 to 1/3 lb. cinnamon drops
Crystalized ginger
Cram cheese
Walnut meats
Cloves (stick)
Lettuce
Mayonnaise, whipped cream or French dressing

Let pears soak in syrup with cinnamon drops overnight; drain. Fill pear cavity with cream cheese and chopped nutmeats. Press two pear halves together and place on lettuce. Inset clove in blossom end of pear. Place thin strip of ginger on other end of pear for stem. Serve with whipped cream or dressing.
